Kuaiya Adds 12 New Node Cities

On August 28, 2026, Kuaiya Accelerator completed a new round of global node expansion, launching 12 overseas node cities in one go. The total now exceeds 300 nodes across 50+ countries — the largest infrastructure investment this year.

The expansion responds to rapid user growth in the first half of 2026 and peak-hour congestion in popular regions. User feedback pointed to thin line choices in Southeast Asia and parts of Europe, so the infrastructure team prioritized those areas.

Where the 12 cities are

Four new cities are in Southeast Asia, four in Europe, three in North America and one in the Middle East. Southeast Asia and Europe were the focus, giving local users near-home access that previously required connecting to a neighboring country's node.

What changed

More nodes mean more choices and more balanced load. The Singapore node, for example, ran above 80% load at peak before the expansion; after traffic was split to nearby new nodes, peak load fell to around 60%, with notably better stability.

Real-world case

A user based in Kuala Lumpur used to connect to Singapore, hitting intermittent peak-hour lag while gaming. After the expansion he switched to the new local node, dropping latency from ~80ms to ~45ms and eliminating the lag.
