Kuaiya v4.0 Release Notes: New UI and Performance

On September 12, 2026, Kuaiya Accelerator released v4.0, bringing a redesigned UI, smart protocol switching and 12 new node cities. Internal tests show connection speed up 32% on average — the largest iteration since early this year.

The v3.x line had run stable for over a year, accumulating a large volume of feedback. Three asks stood out: connection speed fluctuates in complex networks, node coverage is still thin, and the UI is not friendly enough for beginners. v4.0 was rebuilt around these three points.

Smart protocol switching

Previously users had to manually switch between UDP and TCP. v4.0 auto-detects which protocol works best on the current network at connect time, and switches automatically if the protocol is later disrupted — all invisible to the user. In restricted networks, connection success rate rose about 27%.

12 new nodes and a redesign

The update added 12 overseas node cities across Southeast Asia, Europe and North America, pushing the total past 300. The new card-based UI consolidates connection status, node list and speed monitoring into a single screen.

Real-world case

A game streamer in Guangdong saw weekly manual node switches drop from ~7 per day to near zero after enabling smart protocol switching, with fewer frame drops during live streams.
